Always I imagined with my first day in the University and always I knew that study here, it won’t very easy. When I saw my score of PSU I felt very very happy and proud for my achievements and effort. In general this year has been very difficult for me but I know that the difficulties are part of the process.
Well, one of the so many tools that I have used to study has been the technology and I must admit that I do not like much.

To begin, the technology has been present during all this year. I thought that the books were the most important tools to investigate and learn, but in the University I was realize that the books were not all.
The internet is the main technology that I use, because all the class are upload to page of our class, therefore every time that I need to study I must resort to internet to be able to read the classes.
In addition if I want to know any information about my subject like in what auditorium will be the class and in what hourly, also if I want to know my marks, necessarily I must to see it in internet.
On the other hand, in the first semester in one of my subject we used a program called Hypercell where I done my practice class, then that work with this program we took a test.
Also in this subject and in one of this semester (histology) we use a microscope.
With regard to microscope I have not had very good experiences but I know that the microscope is very useful to understand the concepts that we must incorporate.
In spite of had had contact with the computer, I never had use Hipercell and with regard to the microscope, here in the University was my first experience whit this sort of technology.

To conclude I think that the technology that I have known this years is very important to my future professional because I have learn basic concepts related to my career.
In addition, I know that during my career I will know and learn to use various technological tools that will be critical to practice my profession as a midwife.
Finally I consider a challenge for the future can to continue supplementing the education with technology because it is changing every year and is very important use appropriate technology to get positive objectives.

Improve your faculty!

Hello classmate, today I am going to talk you about my University, specifically about my faculty calls Medicine, but it isn’t only medicine because there are eight careers in there like obstetrics, physical therapy, nutrition, nursing, among others. For that my faculty is huge and this is a good point.
I think that my Faculty is beautiful, maybe a little white and with aspect of Hospital, but anyway is beautiful. I like because it infraestructure shows that it is an old building and this show it prestige.
In my opinion the faculty could have more green areas, but it is a detail.
On the other hand, about academics things, in my opinion our new course plan is so weighty and for me is very difficult because I study hard but I dont make much headway. Also the computers of library are very slowly, have virus and just something are in good condition.
The microscope are old and sometimes I cant see the histologic tissue.
I think that the bathrooms are small and unhygienic.
I think that bad point could be improve sending a letter to dean giving information about the situation.
Good aspect could be that the teachers are very good and this produce me security.
Other point is in this faculty there are a lot options to have lunch and all are cheap.
In general I like this university and I think the most important
characteristics are good and the bad things are easy to settle details.

My hobbies!

Hello everyone, today I am going to talk you about my hobbies! I think that later to so work, I have to do something that relax me.
For example, I like to see movies, especially romantic movies! One of my favorite movies is “If Only”… I have seen it at least five times and every times I cry!!! It is so beautiful and above all very romantic!! Also I like to see movies that later to see it, made thinking about the message and to learn the values that the movie to pass.
Other of my hobbies is to sing, always I have liked the music and I think that I have a good ear and talent for the music. I was in the choir of my school during two years and there I learned techniques of singing. In this workshop we song sings like Lacrymosa of Mozart, Happy day (I don’t remember who song this song), Arriba en la cordillera of Patricio Mans, among others. I remember that once we have to sing in French! It was terrible! The pronunciation is very difficult, because is more different to Spanish!. Actually I don’t belong to any choir but I would like to come back to sing!.
Now, my favorite hobbie is definitely dance, especially Arabic dance. I practice this dance since I was 16 years. I wanted to learn to dance because always have liked this dance but also because I am of Arabic descent. I have a share in a lot of presentation and this make me feel very well because always I have gotten praise.
My next presentation will be in the wedding of mi brother, it will be a surprise for him because he asked me to dance but I said him that I cant do it because I don’t have time, so this night will be very especial for me because I know that my brother will be happy.
I hope that everything will turn out good!

Holydays!!

Hello! Today I’m going to talk you about some places that I would like to visit, others that I had gone and places where I would like to go the next summer.
Well, in general I love sunny days and for this reason I prefer go to the beach, for example in Santiago I like to go to Pucon, Viña del mar, La Serena.
Furthemore I would like to go to Cuba, Republica Dominicana or any caribean country.
The first time that I went to Pucon was in the summer of 2005 with my family. I had a good time because I went with my cousins and uncles and they are very very nice.
Furthemore in May of 2007 I also went with my family to Playa del Carmen, and this journey was really amazing. We stayed there seven days and every day was incredible because all the day was relax and fun. For example one day my cousin and me woke up 9 o’clock (aprox) and we put on ours bikinis and went to sunbathing and while we did it drank delicious juice and talking. Also my uncles arrived and stayed in the swimming pool together until we had lunch. In the dining room there were a lot food like pastas, rice, meat, chicken, junk food, etc.
Then we returned to the swimming pool and played water polo or volley ball or any game that occurred to us.
In the afternoon I went out to walk and to know the place. Then we returned to the Hotel to eat something, take a shower, make up and go out to the disco to dance.
This journey was really great for me and I will never forget it.
On the other hand the next holydays I would like to go to the beach like Viña del Mar with my parents and some friend.
Also I would like go to Brasil with my mom, because never we had gone out together to some tropical place, and I m sure that we will have a great time because we are a very nice relation.

What to do and where to go in Santiago.

Hi everybody, today I am going to write about places and activities in Santiago that foreign can visit and do.
If you want have a extreme day, you can go to Fantasilandia. There are a lot of exciting games like extreme full, boomerang, barco pirata, kami-kaze among others. Besides you can stay there all day if you want because there are people selling food and it is very cheap!.
Now, if you want have a very fun day, you can go to Parque Arauco because there you can make ice skating, play bowling and pool. Bsides there sell food and drink.
On the other hand if you want have a relax day I recomend you visit Cerro San Cristóbal where you will can take a Teleférico. There you will can a amazing view of Santiago.
Other option is go to Cerro Santa Lucia where you will can walk and enjoy a natural landscape.
Also you can go to Parque Intercomunal la Reina. There you can make barbacue with your family or friends. It is a big and beautiful place!
Finally if you want have a cultural day, I recomend you visit an art Museum like Bellas Artes. In my opinion it is a beautiful building. I like it architecture, environment and of course it amazing pictures!
The Picture are of several artist and the all the times and styles.
Also you can visit MIM (Museo Interactivo Mirador). It is a museum of science and tecnology. Its very interesting and interactve because it is a fun way to learn.
At last you can go to the cinema. In Santiago there are a lot! Our most beautifull cinema is Cine Hoyts where you can find all the top movies!.

Transantiago

I'm going to talk you about Transantiago.
I think Transantiago in the begining was horrible! but I didnt use it, I think that because i saw in the streets many people waiting a bus, the subway was full and in the news showed all the problems of the system.
Before to Transantiago I used the system of yellow buses and it was very comfortable and practical for me. I used it to go to school and to retorned to my house.
Now I use Transantiago, especifically I take a bus from my house to subway then I take it to Cerro Blanco and finally I get other bus to Independencia.
This new system is more complicated because if you want to arrive to some place you must make a lot of combiation between the subway and buses but a good point is that this system is cheap, maybe cheaper that the old system. Furthemore Bip card is a perfect way to pay because is easier and faster comparated with old system.
I think Transantiago have advanced but it isnt a good system yet. Still the subway is always full and buses too, although now there are more trains but it isnt enough.
I hope the system improve and some day travel to Transantiago will be nice.

Country I would like to visit

I´ m going to talk about what country I would like to visit.
I think that Palestina is a wonderful place. Besides it interesting history, culture and architecture I would love know it because I am of Arabian ascent.
My maternal grandparents were born in Belen and a lot of my other maternal parents were born in Palestina and for that reason I could go there and be received for them.
In general in my family follow the traditions, for example all Christmas or important celebrations, we eat Arabic food. Also I dance Arabic dance since 2006 and to refer to grandmother we say “Cisty” and to refer to grandfather we say “Cidy”.
On the other hand, for me would be fantastic can go to Palestina for can eat the typical food but cooked there and can see Arabian women dancing.
When I will graduate and I have a stable job I pretend to travel there with my mom because for she also is a dream.
Besides I would like to visit all Caribbean’s countries because I love the sun and people that live there.
Finally trip of Palestina will be only for a months, because I love my country and I pretend to job here.

Good and bad points

I think that the begining of first semester was very stressfull for me because I didn't know how was to be in the university and i felt that all my family was very concerned about my performance at university, besides the lessons was very diferent compared to school and more dificult too.
The good things were from the begining of the first semester I found very nice people of diferent career not just of obstetrics and my classmate was very cool.
With a pass of time i was getting realize that the classes weren't very dificult that I knew but i must studied much more than in the school.
I learned very much and aproved all my subjects even the one that I didn't think that i was going to pass, and i am very happy and proud of me.
On the other hand during the last semester always I got soport of my family and friends, specially of my mother.
In a free time I take classes of arabic dance, besides almost every friday I stayed in university's parties and gather with my dear friends!
In general last semester was very good but i hope that this semester wil be better

I dont enjoy my blogging experience.. was very stressfull because think and speak in english is very difficult for me, i know some words and a little of grammar, but write extensively usining high vocabulary is very hard for me.
In adition, i think the time was very short to write two blogs in one class, if write one is hard for me, two were horrible!!
I tried to do good job and tried to comply with the

My favorite area of obstetrics is exactly obstetrics, because in this area I can follow all the pregnancy, delivery, post delivery, and the first taken care of the baby.
Neonatology is very beautiful too but I prefer obstetrics.
I think that my qualities and skills must be principally the vocation, comprehension with the pregnant woman, efficiency principally in delivery and some emergency, etc.

I think that I will be good in this job, because I could manage to develop all the skills since I think I have the qualities. In adition Im sure that is what I want and that I am going to be good at this if I strain and do not lose my vocation

my favorite subject

My favorite subject is Anthropology, because i think that its very interesting.
With this subject i can learn other things that are not a science, like learn to think about things.
The science and theoretical arent the most important in my carreer, because the person is the really important.
In general in my area (health), the people are the most important, and the science help us to help them, but the form in which its done must be the adapted.
My teachers have been until now: Michelle Sadler and Alexandra Obach, both Anthropologists and both has been very enthusiasts in every class. I think that this enthusiasm has influenced in me, because i have can realize that is very important to worry about the emotional well-being of the mother and about the new life that it in way.
I think that i will remember this subjetc for ever.

I choose this profession because i feel a big love whit the babys and with the future mothers.
This carreer have four areas: public health, neonatalogy, obstetrics and gynaecology; my favorite area is obstetrics because this is exactly than i was to do in the future. I like stay with Pregnant woman and follow all her pregnancy.
The tools necesary for my area are: forceps, ultrasound, kinesic ball, etc.; but the more important tools is the vocation and love for this career.

This summer was increible for me, because i could enjoy a beautiful week with my best friend and her family. We went out every day and every night. With Daniela and 2 friends more went to a diferent discos, we danced all nigth and we laughed a lot.

In the picture you can see the beautiful lake, the amazing Villarrica volcano and the special sand.

In spite of the day wasnt very sunny, was agreable to be there.

In adition in the center of picture were my best friend Daniela and me.

When i see this picture i remember a lot of unforgettable moments with Daniela and my others friends.

i like vary much this picture, because i think that daniela and me look soo good.

I`m waiting with anxieties the next summer!

I found this page writing "websites about obstetrics" in google. When i saw it, i thoght that this website was very interesting.
There you can found information related with congresses of obstetrics and Gynaecology, workshops, general gynaecology, general obstetrics, medicine maternal-fetal, elegant critics in obstetrics, infections of sexual transmission, among others topics.
I think that this website is very complete, interesting and updates, because there are a lot of topics very important related with obstetrics .
I log in twice a week, in general all weekend, because i have more time to log in.
When i log in i prefer read about topics specific of obstetrics, like medicine maternal-fetal or elegant critics in obstretics.

My favourite piece of technology is the computer, because i can get information about everething that i´ll want to know. In the other hand i can comunicate with all my friends, family and i can meet new people.
I got my first computer when i´m 10 years old in the christmas and i felt very happy for it.
I use the computer for chating, make works of the University, for fun and listen to music.
If i didnt have the computer, my life will be bored and more complicated because the computer is very useful.
